Fault reporting should also be verified, not assumed.
Mock-up rooms are valuable because they expose interface issues early. A switch that makes sense on a schematic may feel awkward to a guest at bedside. Hotels operate continuously, which changes the support requirement. A room control system cannot be approached like a one-time fit-out package with minimal follow-up.
